Carlee Harmonson knows lung disease. "My mom had COPD. In the fall of the
year, the smog was so bad she couldn't go outside. We moved from Pasadena
to Northern California where the air was cleaner." Later, in college, Carlee
realized that she, too, had chronic breathing difficulties.
