Meet Your Planned Giving Team
Jim Harris is a graduate of the Sam M. Walton College of Business and the School of Law at the University of Arkansas. He received his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has received the Craig Sterne Award for Outstanding Achievement in Taxation and Estate Planning and is a James J. Freeland Tax Scholar. |
David joined the staff at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 2011. He came to Northwest Arkansas from Denver, Colorado where he served as Senior Director of Planned Giving for The Salvation Army and national director of planned giving for the American Humane Association. He is in his 24th year as a development professional. David also draws on his experience as an officer in the United States Air Force, a self-employed businessman and as a sales representative for a Fortune 40 company. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and attended a year of law school at Valparaiso University, Indiana, before joining the Air Force. David and his wife, Dodie, will celebrate their 40th anniversary in January. Their four grown children and seven grandchildren all live in the area which made the opportunity in Fayetteville even more appealing. When he isn’t encouraging philanthropy, David enjoys a number of outdoor sports, shooting and especially wilderness canoe trips. |
Betty Sharp is a graduate of the College of Education and Health Professions specializing in Human Resource Development, and the Sam M. Walton College of Business in Office Administration at the University of Arkansas. She completed her master's degree in Workforce Development Education in 2009. She has served the university for more than 30 years, and has worked in planned giving for over 18 years. Previously she held managerial and administrative positions respectively in Development Research and the Vice President for Agriculture offices. |
Joe Euculano has served the university for 26 years, formerly as director of advancement services during the Campaign for the Twenty-First Century, and as an assistant vice chancellor in the student affairs division. He has completed doctoral coursework in counseling at the University of Michigan and has earned bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology and counseling at Lock Haven University and Penn State University. |
Sharon Donnelly is a graduate of the Masters of Public Administration program at the University of Arkansas. She has served the University for over 24 years, previously in the offices of Institutional Research and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. For several years she was a member of the Development writer's pool before joining the Planned Giving team. |
