Throughout his senior year at Saint Mary's, Alan M. Guanella '09 knew that he definitely wanted to give something substantial back to the place that has meant so much to him. The solution for Alan was a whole life insurance policy naming Saint Mary's University as the beneficiary. "I decided that life insurance was a great way to leave a legacy, and I thought Saint Mary's could benefit from this in the future." Consistent with his wishes, the funds that Saint Mary's will eventually receive through Alan's gift will be designated to further the Lasallian mission at the undergraduate level.
