Shining Star Gifts

Does one of our caregivers stand out in your memory? Someone who took it upon themselves to make sure that you or a family member received exceptional care? At HealthEast, we call these people Shining Stars and would like to give you this opportunity to recognize them.

A way to say thanks
Recognition from a patient or their family is rewarding and precious. When you give in honor of a Shining Star, you are not only saying thank you to someone who made a difference to you, but your gift also ensures that our hospitals and clinics can continue providing excellent care in the future.

Shining Stars receive a lapel pin and a card acknowledging that a gift has been made to the hospital's Greatest Need Fund in their honor. Most importantly, they'll know how much the care they provided means to you.

How your gifts are used
Our not-for-profit health care system has a mission of serving our community's health care needs. We reinvest excess revenue to benefit patient care by purchasing high-tech equipment, providing a healing environment for care and offering community health educational workshops. It also means that everyone who comes to our hospital is cared for, regardless of ability to pay. Your gifts help us do all of this and more.
