HealthEast Foundation Earns Accreditation
It's official! HealthEast Foundation received accreditation from the Charities Review Council. Now others will find out what you have known all along: Giving to HealthEast Foundation is a great way to help patients and their families. The Charities Review Council, an independent resource for donors, measures not-for-profits like HealthEast Foundation against standards which address a charity’s performance in four critical areas: public disclosure, governance, financial activity and fundraising.
Adherence to the Council’s Accountability Standards is an indication that we have taken steps to align our policies and procedures with commonly accepted standards. Accreditation can be viewed as a “seal of approval” from this highly regarded organization and it empowers donors to make informed and thoughtful giving decisions.
We hope this accreditation will help you and others understand that we will make the best use of your gifts!

Festival of Trees
The HealthEast Foundation's Festival of Trees is one of the top Festival of Trees events in the country, raising funds to benefit the health and well being of the Twin Cities and surrounding area.
Awards
HealthEast Foundation recognizes individuals through the following awards:
- HealthEast Foundation Dorothy Klohn Angel Award– This award recognizes members of our HealthEast community whose dedication and extraordinary efforts foster goodwill, engage the community in support of HealthEast and perpetuate the healing ministries of the HealthEast Care System.
- Robert J. Beck, MD Physician Community Service Award– This award recognizes physicians who are active volunteers and have generously used their medical backgrounds, training and resources to make a meaningful, positive impact on the health and well-being of the community
- HealthEast Foundation Ambassador Award– This award recognizes individuals who are enthusiastic ambassadors for HealthEast Care System and who inspire thoughtful and generous giving that makes a difference in the lives of our patients.
Scholarships
HealthEast Foundation, on behalf of HealthEast Care System, awards annual scholarships to current employees, HealthEast teen volunteers and children of HealthEast employees.
