Four Oaks serves thousands of children and families each year through a variety of programs designed to help them be successful. To accomplish this, we rely on the generosity of people who donate items such as cash, securities, personal property or real estate to benefit the mission of Four Oaks. Other opportunities for giving include planned or deferred gifts in the form of wills or bequests, gift annuities, life insurance, retirement assets, and charitable remainder trusts. While Dee may be one-of-a-kind, Del is not….He has an identical twin, Dale, from whom he was separated at birth. The story of the twins' early life may reflect why Del and Dee are so passionate about Four Oaks. More Teaching the Next Generation About Generosity Jon and Dina Dusek are teaching their young daughters about helping others by getting them involved with Four Oaks. Through Girl Scout cookies and homemade blankets, the Dusek family is bringing smiles to the faces of children. That's not all they're doing, though—find out how else the Duseks are supporting Four Oaks. More "The More We Give, The More We Get" This couple makes giving back look easy. Myron (Mike) and Esther Wilson started giving back through donations and volunteering more than 50 years ago and continue to do so today. Each with their own passions, Mike and Esther are an excellent example of what it means to give back. More Helping Children Become Successful Adults One of the real jewels among the Humans Services support organizations in the Cedar Rapids area is Four Oaks. I have been involved with many non-profit organizations over the past 35 years, and I have learned firsthand the passion Four Oaks has for kids and families that need help and assistance if they are to live successful lives.
