The Heritage Association was formed in 1995 by a small, dedicated group of individuals who envisioned the strong need to plan for our YMCA's future. Increasing our Endowment Fund became an important focus on the financial development of this Y. The Board of Trustee recently voted to use 90% of interest income from this fund for facility maintenance and 10% for capital improvements.

With the start of seven original members, the Heritage Association now has 33 active members. It is easy to join and shows that you have a strong belief in the importance of this organization, which we feel is the heart of this community. When planning for the future of your estate you can include the Y in your will, insurance policies, charitable trusts, securities, etc. This is also a great way to reduce your tax liabilities and help the Y too!

Take the lead from others - consider the YMCA in your estate planning. We want to express our sincere thanks to all those who have given in the past or plan to in the future.
