Saint Elizabeth Project to Help Burn Trauma Patients
In an unimaginable accident in June 2009, 30 year-old Tony Linner of Kearney was burned over 50 percent of his body. When his racecar crossed flipped as it crossed the finish line, it became engulfed in flames. Tony was trapped in the fire for an excruciating five minutes. Tony escaped, but nearly died. He was in intensive care at Saint Elizabeth’s Burn Center, for nearly six months before he was able to be home with his wife and four children. More

Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in Nebraska that collaborates with Kids Wish Network—a special network just for children. Kids Wish Network is unique in its efforts to actively seek out children who are ill and need a little extra assistance to bring a big smile. More
