Welcome to Haverford College's
Gift Planning Website!
Ever since Jacob P. Jones bequeathed his sizeable estate in the late 1880s "...to create an Endowment Fund, the income thereof to admit students either free of charge or at reduced rates...," Haverford College has benefitted from the generosity of individuals who have been thoughtful and visionary in their gift planning. These days, it is possible to make a monetary contribution in support of students and also reap income for life for yourself and/or your loved ones. To learn more about Haverford Life Income Plans that can help you realize your philanthropic and financial goals for yourself, your family and also for Haverford, please Contact Us in the Office of Gift Planning.
Whether you are a faithful alum familiar with the Haverford College Gift Planning Homepage or are a parent, grandparent or friend visiting online for the first time, we invite you to consider What to Give and Gift Strategies. In Donor Stories (and also in the most recent Newsletters Online) you will learn what has inspired specific alums and friends of the College to already make a planned gift. If you prefer to take more of a numbers approach, we encourage you to check out our Gift Planning Toolbox and literally see the options available to you in planning your gift. If you are drawing up your will for the first time or are revising an existing one, you might review Bequest Language to formalize your wishes to support Haverford further down the road. Saturated with information and options and ready to take action, click Professional Guidance to begin a dialogue on gift planning. Whether you are celebrating your 5th Reunion or your 50th Reunion, or are the proud relative of a Haverford alum, you have the opportunity to create a legacy at Haverford. Doing so entitles you to membership in the Jacob P. Jones Society. More importantly, it allows you to contribute to future generations of Haverfordians , preparing them to become agents of change who will heal, renew and enrich the world. Please join us!
