Pride, loyalty, and remarkable perseverance—all qualities Leo W. Jenkins drew upon while chancellor of East Carolina University and qualities he instilled in the university's students, alumni, faculty, and friends.
Just as Leo W. Jenkins honored East Carolina University with his ambitions and success, the Leo W. Jenkins Society honors philanthropic benefactors of the university. Contributors of bequests and other forms of planned gifts join his legacy by investing their spirit and the fruits of their labor in the excellence of East Carolina.
Society Eligibility and Membership
Membership in the Leo W. Jenkins Society is conferred upon all benefactors who have included East Carolina University in their estate planning by means of a bequest provision in their will or living trust.
