Pontefract Society
The Pontefract Society honors those alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends who have provided for Pomfret School through bequests in their estate plans or are participants in one or more of the life income programs the school offers. Through their generosity and foresight, Society members have primarily provided gifts to the School’s endowment to support faculty and provide scholarships for deserving students.
Some alumni endow their Annual Fund gifts through bequests so that their name and class will be forever remembered. All Society members invest in the educational experience of generations of Pomfret students yet to come. The Pontefract Society literally represents Pomfret’s future.
