Legacy Giving

The Heritage Society was established in 1994 to honor those who remember The Cleveland Orchestra through a bequest, charitable trust, gift annuity, or other form of planned gift. The lotus blossom pictured on the left is the symbol of The Heritage Society. Said to be Elisabeth Severance's favorite flower, the lotus motif is found in nearly every public area of Severance Hall. Representing eternal life, a sterling silver lotus pin is presented to every Heritage Society member to recognize the lasting legacy they are creating for generations to come.
