Legacy…What does this word mean to you?

The formal definition reads
1: a gift by will especially of money or other personal property or
2: something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past.

In many ways, the two explanations are one and the same. They convey a commitment to ensuring that the traditions and institutions that mean so much to us in our lifetime will exist for future generations.

The Adath Jeshurun Foundation is entrusted with the personal legacies of hundreds of individuals who care deeply about Adath's future through its support of scholarships, educational programs, outreach, and capital improvements. Our Foundation strives to make sure that our strong vibrant community at Adath today will be here in years to come, by ensuring the future financial health and stability of the congregation.

This is an exciting time in the life of Adath Jeshurun Congregation as we prepare to celebrate the 18th anniversary of our synagogue building by launching a new campaign to ensure Adath's future.
