As a passionate Pittsburgh booster and arts lover, I was drawn to the Trust's mission in the early '80s, and thrilled to join the board a few years later. To me, the Trust was then, and is now, just about the most exciting act in town, not only for its huge impact on the growth of our cultural scene but the growth of the region. The track record bears out founder Jack Heinz's original expectations, and our circles of support keep widening. The coming of the Cultural District's dazzling new residential riverfront neighborhood will be a new high for those of us who give support, and a new high for Pittsburgh.
