Pink on the Rink
The Quad City Mallards, Genesis Medical Center and Cumulus Media will team up to support breast cancer awareness with a "Pink in the Rink" night at the i wireless Center on Saturday, Nov. 6. Mallards players will wear special pink jerseys. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned after the game, with proceeds benefiting the Genesis Health Services Foundation. The first 1,000 fans will receive pink caps promoting breast cancer awareness. By special arrangement through the Kenneth H. McKay, M.D., Center for Breast Health, breast cancer survivors will receive free tickets to the game while supplies last. There will also be breast cancer information at a concourse display.
