To recognize the lifetime commitment of Myrtle and Earl E. Walker to manufacturing and the value they placed on education, the SME Education Foundation Board of Directors has officially named the SME Education Foundation Founder's Society The Myrtle and Earl Walker Founder's Society. Long time supporters of the Education Foundation's scholarship program, the Walker's generosity has impacted the lives of countless manufacturing engineering students allowing them to pursue educational and career goals without having to assume heavy financial burdens.
