The SME Education Foundation needs your continued support. For 30 years the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation has been dedicated to the advancement of manufacturing education. Through hard work, creative thinking and consistent support from manufacturing leaders like yourself, we have become a dominant force in designing innovative programs that attract and prepare the next generation of manufacturing workers.
We have accomplished a great deal but there is still so much work to be done! We urge you to seriously consider including a gift though your estate plan to further the work of the SME Education Foundation.
An estate gift has these benefits:
- Simplicity—Just insert a few sentences into your will or trust.
- Flexibility—Because you are not completing the gift until after your lifetime, you can change the beneficiaries at any time.
- Versatility—You can structure the bequest to leave a specific item or amount of money or leave a percentage of your estate.
- Tax relief—When you make a gift to the Education Foundation in your will, your estate is entitled to an estate tax charitable deduction for the gift's full value.
