John has been with the office since 1994. He earned a bachelor's degree in speech communication from the University of Arizona in 1990 and a law degree from Creighton University in 1993. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and is active in the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona where he is currently president and the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council. He serves on the board of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tucson where he has served as president, the Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic School Board and Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church Endowment Board of Trustees.
Jan joined our office in October 2008, after a long career in private practice. She earned her law degree from the University of Arizona in 1994, as well as an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University. Jan has served as the chair of the State Bar of Arizona's Probate and Trust Section, and is as an active member of the Pima County and State Bar Associations, the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council and the Planned Giving Roundtable of Tucson.
Mark began with Gift Planning in September 2006 and has been with the University of Arizona Foundation since 2001. He brings over fifteen years of experience, working in the non-for-profit sector. Prior to joining the UA Foundation, Mark worked in the healthcare industry for seven years. He is a certified public accountant, who earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of Arizona in 1992. He is a member of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona where he is currently treasurer. He also serves as treasurer on the board of the Susan G. Komen for a Cure, Southern Arizona Affiliate.
Danette began with the Office of Planned Giving in November 2007. She brings over fourteen years of experience in higher education from the University of Arizona and the University of Idaho. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Office Administration and a Master of Education degree in Business Education from the University of Idaho. Danette is currently pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate in Paralegal Studies from Pima Community College.
